Position of localities, sites, structures and objects forming
cultural heritage (cultural - historical entities - CHE) in the local (regional,
national, European) context stands for the central aspect of the respective
subject matter, providing background for the other issues to be studied, the
most relevant of which are deemed as follows:
- Approaches to the assessment of the CHEs' cultural, social and economic
value.
- Cultural heritage entities as a part of environmental patterns and the
ways how to mitigate local environmental quality.
- Impacts of the presence of CHEs on the value and price of real estate and
identification factors in the community.
- Localisation of economic activities, considered in the CHEs' concerns
perspective.
The information on the on-going and completed projects in the
studied fields is to start the workshop. Exchange of views as for the existing
"economic environment", legal base and prevailing management practice
regarding the appropriate handling of CHE has to specify the issues to be
addressed in the further parts of workshop.
